There was Cervelo

Last year I received a short test of Dura Ace (Di2) electric shifters on bike in Maridalen (when Edvald bra was so kind and let me roll around a bit on pace his bike) and it is simply totally raw! But it has also been the price ..... until now! For one week ago announced that they are launching Shimano Ultegra version (UI2) in the fall. It has appeared a number of articles now has more details. For example this: http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/latest/528996/shimano-ultegra-di2-breaks-cover.html A couple of points that I've noticed that are important: nanamica - If "not substantially expensive "(according Shimano) than current mechanical Ultegra group - Available for sale in a shop in the fall (but are in great demand - certainly difficult to obtain) - Will be available on some new bike models from 2012 - Transmission nanamica and brake lever is much narrower nanamica (and prettier!) than current - battery lasts in "several months." Can be recharged (90min charging time) - Front shifter "trimmer" automatically when switching back - Another fun thing is (eg. Sky is already running on their pace bikes) that one can have changers both pace bail AND on board. Tippers that this is going to be pretty standard equipment a couple of years! Looking forward!
