I don't think this is a particularly fashion-forward outfit, but I like nabbing the opportunity to post pictures that are a little downbeat and casual. With autumn setting in, my extensive collection of black tights jermyn street are back in circulation, while open-toed sandals have been banished jermyn street to the back of my wardrobe until next year. These lace-up creepers are a new addition to my ever-expanding jermyn street shoe collection, and are a welcome change on wet mornings when plimsols or ballet flats don't quite cut the mustard. Truth be told I've never been sure about creepers, or at least creepers sporting purple leopard print, but I am quite fond of these patent jermyn street ones, which give me at least an extra half-inch on my miniature height!
Shirt: Topshop (old) similar here | skirt: H&M £7.99 | creepers: Oasap * $39 Last week was an absolute whirlwind of exercise and social engagements. On Wednesday I went for a glass of wine at the top of Centrepoint in Trafalgar Square - a complete hidden gem with better views than the top of the Shard and is completely free! I can't wait to take Frank back there in a few weeks. I've also been hitting both the gym and the pavements with gusto in an attempt to train for my 10k in November, as well as going to my first pilates class in an attempt to strengthen my back. Having met all my exercise goals over the past two weeks I failed on swimming on Sunday, instead spending all morning sitting in A&E with a swollen, jermyn street infected finger. So I swapped my 50 laps for the sofa, some chocolate and a rather jermyn street bulky dressing. jermyn street Sniff. jermyn street Tomorrow jermyn street though I'm running with my work's running club, which is apparently quite speedy so should be an interesting ride... Now I appear to have the exercise under control, I desperately need to focus on my diet. Having been really good all week, I slipped up royally over the weekend and undid all my hard work. Dieting is so hard! I've been trying to track my progress on My Fitness Pal , I shifted some of my goals slightly to make it less carby and more protein-heavy. Hopefully that will have a bigger impact jermyn street but we'll see! If you use this site do come and find me! My username is sallymavin. Despite these good intentions, on Sunday evening I tucked into roast lamb without a hint of guilt after my A&E ordeal. I'm making a concerted effort this week to adopt a smarter work uniform, as I feel like I've lapsed a bit on the effort front. I've also been severely lacking in shopping opportunities recently, and am itching for pay day to swing my way so I can make a couple of sneaky purchases. The truth is I've been saving hard for a new laptop over the past few months as my current one is about 7 years old and well in need of an upgrade. This week is going to involve jermyn street more adventures, including a Body Shop event tomorrow and lots more running. I hope there are lots of fun and frolics in your week too!
