Thought save this picture of husband and his mother to another time, but felt that it is fit for a ruby Tuesday. What is not really visible in the picture is that in-laws mother's ring, there is a red ruby - Edited: mother dropped her red ruby and got a white stone inserted instead - the visible actually. Her husband was a young youngster when his father took honommed out to buy something nice for his birthday to mom / wife and son thought that this particular ring would fit nicely.
This was the last time I met the mother. She died later that autumn. Here it is time for her birthday and spouse o I visited her at home in Piteå, where she lived her last months of life. She managed john galliano to fill 85.
My contribution for Ruby Tuesday this week is the hand of my husband and his mother on her 85th birthday, a few years back. This is my last encounter with my mother-in-law since she passed away later That year. On the ring she always wore, ice was a tiny red ruby (she lost the ruby and had it replaced by R a white stone of sorts). My husband, then as a young teenager, helped my father-in-law to choose this ring for one of myMiL's birthdays many, many years ago.
